Rubén Dubrovsky is a conductor, artistic director, and curator of the Mittersill Festival. He works internationally at the intersection of historical performance and the classical-romantic repertoire. As Chief Conductor of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz (Munich) and Principal Guest Conductor of the Cologne Opera, he regularly leads productions of works by Handel, Mozart, Monteverdi, Gluck, and Rossini. Guest engagements have taken him to venues such as the Semperoper Dresden, Teatro Colón Buenos Aires, Palau de les Arts Valencia, Theater an der Wien, and Leipzig Opera.

 With the Bach Consort Wien, which he founded in 1999, he has appeared in major concert halls and festivals, including Styriarte, the Schwetzingen Festival, and the Handel Festival in Halle. A distinctive focus of his artistic work is the dialogue between European Baroque music and Latin American traditions. His recordings have been released on Gramola, Naxos, and Sony/Harmonia Mundi.

Rubén Dubrovsky ist Dirigent, künstlerischer Leiter und Intendant des Mittersill Festivals. Er arbeitet international an der Schnittstelle von historischer Aufführungspraxis und klassisch-romantischem Repertoire. Als Chefdirigent des Staatstheaters am Gärtnerplatz (München) und Erster Gastdirigent der Oper Köln ist er regelmäßig mit Opern von Händel, Mozart, Monteverdi, Gluck und Rossini zu erleben. Engagements führten ihn u. a. an die Semperoper Dresden, das Teatro Colón Buenos Aires, den Palau de les Arts Valencia, das Theater an der Wien und die Oper Leipzig.

Mit dem von ihm gegründeten Bach Consort Wien gastierte er in internationalen Konzertsälen und bei Festivals wie Styriarte, Schwetzinger Festspiele und Händel-Festspiele Halle. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit liegt in der Verbindung europäischer Barockmusik mit lateinamerikanischen Traditionen. Aufnahmen erschienen bei Gramola, Naxos und Sony/Harmonia Mundi.
